A Warm Welcome!

Hey there,

I chanced upon some of my old family photos as I continue to unbox since the move. The old photographs, despite being discoloured over the years, really mean a lot to my family now as we have moved on to yet another stage of our lives in this new home. They were simply snap shots of our daily lives - my little brother's messy face from eating a bowl of Wanton mee, my little sister's first Taekwondo tournament and my sweaty face for being in the school marching band on sports day. These are precious moments which we cannot recreate and it is these photos that give us a glimpse of the past which makes us who we are today.

Other than making me feel super emo, it also serves as a reminder of the importance of my role as a family portrait photographer. I am there to document the stage of life the family is in, rather than just creating nice looking pictures. It's almost like being part of their lives, and when I think about it now, is truly something that I should never take for granted.
