1. Return & Refund Policy

Fees paid to Stories Sdn Bhd are strictly non-refundable. However, all bookings are fully transferable to another person or company.

A confirmed shoot remains valid for 1 year from the date of booking. Clients may postpone their shoot once at no additional charge, subject to Stories’ availability. Any further postponements made less than 7 days before the shoot date will incur additional charges.

2. Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. Stories Sdn Bhd is committed to safeguarding the personal information you share with us. We will not sell, rent, or disclose your name, email address, contact number, or other personal details to any third party not affiliated with our company.

We collect and use your personal information for these purposes:

  • To contact you via email, newsletter, WhatsApp, or phone regarding your shoot or inquiries

  • To coordinate communication before, during, and after your photography or video session

  • To update you on promotions, events, workshops, and services from Stories or our related brands

You may unsubscribe from email newsletters at any time.

3. Fulfilment Policy

This Fulfilment Policy forms part of the standard terms and conditions of Stories Sdn Bhd. By confirming a booking, you agree to the following:

A. Payment & Booking

  • Full payment is required upon confirmation of the service.

  • The shoot must be scheduled within 1 year from the booking date.

  • One postponement is allowed without charge. Additional postponements notified less than 7 days prior will incur additional charges.

  • All flight costs (if applicable) must be paid before bookings are made.

  • Fees are non-refundable but fully transferable to another person or company.

B. Copyright & Usage

  • Stories Sdn Bhd owns the copyright to all photos, videos, and related materials.

  • Stories may use your images or videos for our website, social media, marketing materials, contests, or exhibitions unless otherwise agreed in writing.

C. Service Delivery & Limitations

  • Stories will take reasonable care to produce quality work. We are not liable for circumstances outside our control, including equipment failure, power outage, defective memory cards, human error, weather conditions, terrorism, natural disasters, government restrictions, riots, strikes, epidemics, or pandemics.

  • If the assigned photographer or videographer is unable to attend due to illness, injury, family emergency, or similar reasons, a replacement professional of equal qualification will be assigned. Alternatively, you may reschedule the shoot to a date suitable for both parties.

D. Creative Direction & Editing

  • Stories retains full creative control over the style and post-processing of images. Colour and contrast adjustments are included.

  • Major retouching such as skin smoothing, slimming, acne removal, or teeth whitening is not included. Additional retouching services is available upon request, and chargeable depending on complexity.

  • Sit-in editing sessions are not allowed.

  • Clients may request up to 2 rounds of changes for slideshows and videos.

E. Duration of shoot

  • Clients are advised to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled time. Delays of more than 30 minutes will be considered an additional hour and charged accordingly.

F. Delivery of Materials

  • Edited photos, videos, and album layout designs will be delivered within 14 working days of the shoot.

  • For packages requiring photo selection, unselected photos will be archived after 6 months.

  • For albums:

    • Up to 2 rounds of image swaps are allowed.

    • If no feedback is received within 2 months, the layout will be archived and a reactivation fee applies after this period.

    • If the chosen album type is discontinued, upgrade fees may apply.

    • Printing will only begin after layout approval.

G. Formats & Products

  • Clients receive images in soft copy (300dpi JPEG) via USB or download link.

  • Where applicable, the full set of high-resolution images are available for purchase.

  • Unedited RAW files are not available for purchase.

  • Defective USB drives must be returned within 14 days for replacement.

H. Retrieval & Warranty

  • First retrieval of lost photos is complimentary.

  • Stories’ liability is limited to the refund of actual payments received, even in cases of negligence.

  • By engaging our services, you agree to receive communication from Stories through email and newsletter. You may opt out anytime.
