Her first impression of him was that he was boring and too quiet. His first thought of her was that she talked waaay too much. But after spending some time getting to know each other, they realize that they enjoy each other’s company. The talkative girl became the supportive girlfriend who would always encourage him and make him happy. The quiet guy would soon learn how to make her laugh and bring her down to earth with his rational thoughts.

And soon, the companionship and friendship turned to love.

I had the privilege to get to know Chen Hoe and Shirley last year, when Shirley started attending my church. My thoughts of the both of them? Certainly opposites in terms of character! On the contrary, I don’t think Chen Hoe is really quiet. He can be pretty chatty after he gets to know you. :) He is the calm, collected person who can probably rationalize everything in the universe. She is the fiery person who is passionate about the things she believes in.

Terry + Mei Ling

It is always true that things happen when you are studying in college / university. Everything is new, life is exciting and you get to meet cool people. People like Mei Ling, of course. Sharing the same house, it was not long after that Terry and Mei Ling became an item. And so, a graphic designer weds a doctor.

The beach wedding reception is not till next year, but this is the day Terry and Mei Ling made their marriage official. The papers are signed, the vows are made, and they are married! So here’s a quick little post to wish them congratulations!!

Sean + Carol, Thean Hou Temple

Sean is one cool guy. He runs My Photo Shop in Sri Hartamas and is constantly thinking of new ideas to make his business relevant to clients and up to date. His service is really good, and not only that, he also loves to joke a lot! Then I met Carol, who is also from Malacca! I found out that she’s Nyonya, just like me. We’re a diminishing breed, I tell you!

Recently, Sean and Carol signed their marriage registration at Thean Hou Temple and I had the privilege of photographing the event. Congratulations, Sean & Carol!
