Together they turned a year older,
So different, yet they’ll always be twins!
Hasan and Ahu brought their cheeky little twins to our studio to mark their first birthday together. Many more shared birthdays to come!
The people we photograph are sometimes families who travel often. They relocate from one country to another every few years, somewhat like Duncan and Mia. If there’s one thing we’ve learned from them, it’s that life may take you places, but home is always where your family is.

A baby’s first birthday is so significant. In one year, a baby can learn how to roll over, sit up, crawl, communicate with sounds and simple words, eat soft foods, use their hands and fingers to hold, wave, and even clap. What’s not to celebrate! Don’t forget, it’s also a celebration for new parents – for making through their first year of parenthood!
Ian and Melanie made a family event out of Louella’s first birthday and brought their extended family to our studio for photos. They are such a photogenic family and we loved seeing how much this little lady was loved on that day! More photos below.
This family session with Antoine, Josie and their girls, were one of the first few photoshoots we did right after the Movement Restriction Order in Malaysia. They brought some of the girls’ favourite toys and coordinated their outfits. The girls were lovely, and able to speak three languages too! English, Mandarin & French. Even from a safe distance, it was so nice to have human interaction again and to see our studio filled with family and loved ones. More photos below!
Taman Rimba Kiara is one of our favourite locations for outdoor photoshoots. It’s near our studio, there’s free parking, and good eateries around the area for families to head to after the shoot. Joe Yee and Wen Tjin wanted a photo shoot with the whole family since having their second child. Joe Yee’s mom and sister and her family joined too. We arrived at 8am to catch the best light and cool weather. They were such a wonderful family, and their boys were like little gentlemen! Everyone wanted a photo with the new baby cousin / sibling / nephew of course.
