Beautiful, broad smiles that exude warmth. A family that loves hugging as much as they enjoy smiling and laughing. It was easy photographing a close knit family such as Maya’s and Vidhya’s. Maya’s two children are absolutely gorgeous, with soulful eyes. By the way they interact with their uncle and grandmother, you know that this is one family that has love at the heart of it.

Three years ago, I was privileged to have photographed Fahrizal and Shirah’s royal wedding at Shangri-La Hotel in KL. It was one of the first few times I photographed a royal wedding alongside with all the formalities and protocol. I can’t believe how time has flown, because now, Fahrizal and Shirah has a sweet little princess of their own. I love what Shirah did to dress up this little photo shoot ‘set’. In her own words, “I’m a wannabe party planner!”.
Little Ara enjoyed rocking on her horse, spending time with her parents, but as with all toddlers, the tide can turn at any time! Halfway through the shoot, she decided she didn’t want to take any more photos! Temper tantrums make my job a lot more interesting! :) (By the way, it is really normal to have toddlers rolling on the ground halfway through a shoot).

It’s always a pleasure to photograph the people closest to you, and to know that you’re documenting such a beautiful moment in their lives. Sharon and I have a relationship that goes beyond a decade. We’ve seen each other through our ups and downs, cried with each other, and laughed together. From adolescence to adulthood. It’s been a wonderful friendship. I’m so happy that I even had a voting say in how to spell baby J’s name! I look forward to growing old together as we mature together in life, Sharon and Peter.

Every parent would share the story of how their child has deviously wrapped them up tightly around his/her little finger, despite the determined declarations that it would never happen. Eva is one lucky baby, adored by her parents Phil & Elisa, her aunt Melisa and grandmum Amina. Even at 3 months of age, she has a personality of her own… cute, cheeky, loves baths but hates onesies that go over her head.
