Wedding of Zach & Linda

Zach and Linda first made an appearance on our blog a few months ago when we took their pre-wedding photos in KL. Well, this time round, they are back from Australia again… for their Chinese wedding banquet. Ben and Weiming were there to capture all the key moments of the day. So much fun and laughter at this wedding, even though I wasn’t there to witness it, I could see that everyone had heaps of fun, including the grandmothers!

Congratulations Zach and Linda! Wishing you many years of joyful wedded bliss!

Zach and Linda’s Story

I first saw Zach’s name on a sheet of paper on my boss’ desk, I suspected that he was the new guy who’d just been hired. Having been a star performer at work, I worried that this new colleague would be a rival. My first impression of him after he started work was that he felt like a little kid…..

We were eventually tasked to work together and our feelings for each other developed quickly in a short period of time. We discovered that we had attended the same kindergarden together, and that our secondary schools were situated opposite each other’s’ and that we’d attended the same college and eventually the same university in Canberra as well. I also recalled that I’d once been introduced to Zach while at University, but that I’d dismissed him because he had long hair! Finally, fate decided that it was time for us to meet at work, and we’ve been together ever since.

Zach is a very sweet boyfriend, he always buys me big bouquets of roses, writes me poems and he takes very good care of me. I feel very blessed to have him as my life partner.

Together, we love travelling and enjoy the occasional fine dining in Sydney with our friends. Although many find Canberra a boring city, we appreciate the clean fresh air in this well planned city as well as the freedom of driving on traffic jam-free roads. :)

Wedding Video Highlight: Ching Siang & Stephanie

They see each other as opposites, but with differences that naturally complement each other. Stephanie laughs a lot and is really expressive. Ching Siang on the other hand, claims to have lips that are way too small which means that he can’t laugh as loudly as Stephanie. He’s a perfectionist, a thinker… but… someone who is always late (which irritates Stephanie who’s a really punctual person). Good thing for Ching Siang – he was on time on his wedding day!

Their story began while they were in primary school… they were classmates for 6 years and she being the basketball team player… soon caught Ching Siang’s attention. He was an unknown geeky guy sitting in the corner in class (with big fat glasses too!), just noticing her from afar. Years later, they met again in Melbourne, and that’s when they began to get to know each other a lot better.

The proposal happened on top of a hot air balloon overlooking the city of Melbourne witnessed by a basketful of strangers. It was successful, because within a second of his proposal, she nodded enthusiastically!

Ching Siang and Stephanie, thank you for giving us the opportunity to record your story! :)

Casual Portraits: Erik & Meiri

I am excited to share this set of images taken by Nigel, because he has a really different way of looking at things, which makes his images unique! Here’s how Nigel feels about the shoot with Erik and Meiri…

Erik & Meiri are a fun couple to work with and I enjoyed my morning with them. Getting to know new people in life is always a good and exciting thing. After having a talk with Erik, I found out that we actually went to the same college and studied the same course, but at a different period of time. Both of them are from Indonesia and they decided to hop down to KL over the weekend to catch up with friends and also do a mini lifestyle photo shoot with us. It was my first time leading a portrait shoot for Stories and I absolutely loved it!
