Wedding Anniversary at Rawa Island: Guillaume & Eve

Guillaume and Eve live in France. 15 years ago, they met during a hydrotherapy session when she was just 18. They were both there for skin treatment. Three years of living in separate locations didn’t divide them, it strengthened their love, and soon, they bought a house together just 5 minutes away from Disneyland Paris. Travel and adventure is in their DNA, and on August 15th, 2009, Guillaume and Eve decided to get married in Las Vegas, with just their photographer as their witness.

10 years later, they decided to renew their vows at Rawa Island, Malaysia with their 2 kids as witness. It was a really meaningful ceremony for them, as they had just gone through 2 years of challenges after discovering their son had ADHD and autism. Despite the initial rain, it was the perfect day for the 4 of them. It was a celebration of the love they share together, and the strength that they get from being one as family.

Pre-Wedding in Krabi, Thailand

If you love the beach, I would totally recommend heading to Krabi, Thailand for a pre-wedding, anniversary or even a family portrait session! Recently, we were invited by Tourism Thailand and Weddings Malaysia on a familiarisation trip to Krabi. There were 5 of us – a few photographers, a videographer and a wedding planner. We were brought around to many beautiful resorts and met the sales people at these hotels. Some of these venues were just perfect for a wedding ceremony. In fact, with reasonable air fares, heading to Krabi on a 1.5 hour flight for a photo session is not only easily accessible but it is affordable.

This was my 3rd time on a photo session in Krabi, Thailand. If you are interested in our current promotion (rates start from RM5,500 not inclusive of flights & accommodation costs), contact us so that we can bring you around in the land of Amazing Smiles! Let us arrange all the details for the trip. We will also be happy to take you along for a post-shoot massage. Contact us to find out specific promo details.

These photos were taken around Hong Island and The ShellSea Krabi.

Female Standing Poses: Tips & Tricks

There are many ways to pose a person so that they will look good in front of the camera. Naturally, our clients are not models, and they rely on us as the photographers to guide them on how to stand. Watch our video for some basic tips on female standing poses and see how your images can be much better by just applying some of these simple principles!

Female Standing Poses: Basic Tips & Tricks

  1.  Stand at a 45 degree angle to the camera to give some shape to your body. If our body faces the camera directly, the shoulders appear square and the entire body looks wider.
  2. Bend your arms and knees to create shape. The female body is full of curves, even if you are plus sized! Arms that lie flat against the body look squished and makes it look even bigger than it actually is. So, go ahead and bend any limbs that can be bent!
  3. Push your hips to one side of the other. If you are standing at a 45 degree angle, one leg will be forward. Put your weight on your back leg and push your butt and hips to the back so that it will make your hips look smaller.

Go ahead and get beautiful images of yourself!
