We just love walking with our couples through life’s many milestones. For Pei Shing and Jacques it was her show-worthy maternity session, then the birth of baby Marcel, and now… Marcel has already turned one! How time flies.
What started out as a very proper family portrait session at our studio, quickly escalated to heaps of fun and laughter! This little man stole the show for the day of course. Can you tell how smitten we are with his little charming smile? More photos below!
Jonathan and Lay Choo celebrated their son’s first birthday with a cake smash photo shoot at our studio – complete with tub time after the mess! Grandpa and grandma came too.

It’s not every day that we meet someone who is willing to come to our studio every month to document their children’s growth. So when Michelle Iking proposed the idea, we were thrilled! Over a duration of 10 months during her son’s first year, she and her husband dressed the kids up and brought them to the studio so we could take a series of family photos. They even came with traditional outfits during each festive season! It was too cute.
We finally got around to putting it all together in three beautiful photo collages. It really shows how fast your little ones are changing even just within a year! Don’t we sometimes wish we could stop time?
Aaron and Jamie are friends of ours and we also took their pre-wedding photos in the past. As a couple, they love pandas. But when Joseph came along, he decided penguins were his thing. As you can see, this kid is full of personality! His mum describes him as “Extrovert, cheeky and talkative after warming up. Can be pretty loud and he has an infectious laughter. Warm and affectionate when in good mood… can be pretty bossy at times too.”
The funniest part was when she told us,
“Joseph looked at our wedding portraits and asked where is Joseph? So it’s time to take some family pic and add a nice canvas to the wall!”
That line pretty much sums up this family photo session at our studio!
With Raya just around the corner, it’s so exciting to welcome families for portraits at our studio. Malaysian artist and actor Alif Satar, his wife Shadila Halid, and their extended family popped by in April, all dressed up for their annual Raya family photoshoot. Both Alif and his wife are no stranger to the camera of course, so the photoshoot was quick and easy! It was so nice to meet their siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews too.
