So this Mother’s Day, we want to give all mothers the opportunity to celebrate this very moment in their lives and also remember that they have all the support they need. The journey they’re on today, is one that their mothers took with them before. We want to be part of that journey and celebrate with you too!
Since our company, Integricity Visuals Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 2008, we have used this name for all our corporate work, including separating our commercial photography and video production from our personal lifestyle photography work. However, to many of you, we were simply known as the Stories team because of our lifestyle photography brand, Stories.my that grew to be a household name in the area of family, maternity and wedding photography.
After much deliberation, we have decided to consolidate and create a simpler brand experience for everyone. As of 2020, our corporate brand under Integricity Visuals is now known as Stories for Business. Our lifestyle photography work will still continue to exist as Stories Lifestyle.

We’re entering the weekend with some of our favourite shots over the past year… of happy kiddos! These little humans make our days so much fun at the studio and outdoors. Children sometimes take awhile to warm up to someone new, especially when they’re holding a camera. So we have a studio full of props, toys and even small-sized furniture to fit them.
We also know that during this time, many parents would be spending time with their children at home. This is a great opportunity to snap some photos to treasure these moments, especially since kids grow so fast! Do a Google search for a ‘family photographer’ and chances are, you’ll see lifestyle photography as a service too (that’s what we offer as well). “What’s lifestyle photography?” you might wonder. Well, this article will be addressing that. After this, you can add one more photography term to your vocabulary with confidence and clarity. Most importantly, you’ll know what it means for you!
A lifestyle photographer is someone who documents a person’s lifestyle by capturing photos of their real-life events, situations, or their milestones in an artistic manner. It celebrates the art of the everyday. Many photos you see of other families and couples having the best ‘candid’ moments captured while doing ‘everyday-looking-things’ are often categorised as lifestyle photography. A true lifestyle session is full of candid moments that happen when a photographer gets to follow their subjects to places that they frequently spend time at.
However, what really goes on behind the scenes is that there’s a highly skilled photographer directing all the shots! Many of these ‘candid moments’ don’t happen by themselves, and they may not always happen in places that are meaningful to the people in the photo. The reality is, its usually a photographer’s job to create opportunities for these moments to happen and quickly snap the photo whenever it does. Here are some examples:
Last month we posted the set from Daniel & Prisila’s church wedding ceremony. As promised, here’s the collection from their temple wedding the next day in Kuala Lumpur! Our team geared up again, and set out to capture some of the happiest moments that took place against the temple’s vibrant backdrop. It was so nice to see familiar faces in the crowd again and each person looked ravishing, as the couple’s family and close friends were donned in beautiful traditional Indian silks for the occasion.
