Mike and Sarah’s wedding felt like a massive reunion of old friends. That usually happens when the bride and groom have known each other since childhood. Sarah’s earliest memory of Mike was in Sunday School. “He’d be the noisiest boy in the hall and be picked out instantly because of his vibrant personality. Till today – Mike has that extrovert personality!” she tells us. We could tell Mike certainly loves being around people and has a good sense of humour. As for Sarah, she expresses herself through writing, singing, and describes herself as an introvert (although Mike disagrees with that last one). Over many years of friendship which eventually blossomed into a relationship, both their best qualities rubbed off on each other – making them a perfect team. The story of how they first met and grew together is really the stuff of a romance novel.

Shri and Hui Ru celebrated their marriage at Ti Chen, The Saujana Hotel. It was lovely to see elements of their cultures coming together in unity and even more so, to see the joy that friends, family, and the couple had on their faces throughout the day. Their view of life resonates with us too!
“We see each other as soulmates. Before we met each other we were caught up with work & serving our families & the community. But the first time we paused and took time to get to know each other , we realized what true happiness is.”
Here’s the wedding video highlight we did for them. Thank you for having us Shri and Hui Ru! It was a special day indeed.

I have been meaning to write this post for quite a number of months! Jamie, our team’s talented photographer finally said “I do” to the man of her dreams, Joseph. It was a meaningful wedding for me because I love these 2 people very much as we gotten quite close through the years. Joseph was our housemate for quite a long time until the wedding, and our children loved his playful nature. It was really an honour to be asked to photograph their portraits after the wedding ceremony ended. After the ceremony ended, the heavens opened and there were showers of blessing at the venue (actually, it felt like a storm) but thankfully, the rain stopped for us to take some these images before sunset.
K’Seena House is a very pretty place for pictures, and it was my first time there. I loved how Joseph’s corsage was replaced with a rope, since the both of them are avid rock climbers! What a joy it was for us to witness Joseph and Jamie’s wedding!
Guillaume and Eve live in France. 15 years ago, they met during a hydrotherapy session when she was just 18. They were both there for skin treatment. Three years of living in separate locations didn’t divide them, it strengthened their love, and soon, they bought a house together just 5 minutes away from Disneyland Paris. Travel and adventure is in their DNA, and on August 15th, 2009, Guillaume and Eve decided to get married in Las Vegas, with just their photographer as their witness.
10 years later, they decided to renew their vows at Rawa Island, Malaysia with their 2 kids as witness. It was a really meaningful ceremony for them, as they had just gone through 2 years of challenges after discovering their son had ADHD and autism. Despite the initial rain, it was the perfect day for the 4 of them. It was a celebration of the love they share together, and the strength that they get from being one as family.
