There are many ways to take maternity photos. For some, it can be really fun to dress up and bring out the props. For others, it can also be very simple. Much like Terence and Sarah’s at her 37th week. We went for a stroll with them at Taman Aman, stopping every now and then to snap a photo. We hope these photos will bring them many treasured memories in the years to come, as they look back and remember time their hearts grew bigger to make room for one more!

Why take maternity photos
Graduation, engagements, weddings… becoming a parent for the first time. These life-changing moments symbolise your commitment to a new chapter of life. It’s a milestone to celebrate and remember. In future, you and your spouse will have these photos to look back on and see how much you’ve grown over the years. The best part about taking maternity photos, is being able to one day spend quality time with your children as you flip through the photo album and showing them how valued they are, even from the day they were just a wee baby bump in ‘mama’s belly’!

Andrew and Katrina are one of those couples whom we’ve been able to journey with over a few milestones. It all started when they invited us to be their pre-wedding and wedding photographers, which turned out to be an epic journey for the whole crew! From a pre-wedding photo shoot in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, to a beautiful ceremony in Phuket, and a lavish reception dinner at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
Now, to welcome their little Chia seed!
A maternity session never fails to delight us, especially when we get to work with couples like Iris and her husband. They were relaxed, lovable, and totally excited about the coming of their little one. I mean, who wouldn’t be!
Speaking of which, did you know that fetus is the Latin word for “little one”? How adorable!
A maternity photoshoot is always exciting and special when you’re a new mother. If it’s your second child, the photoshoot could turn into a family session! For Sebastian and Yan, this maternity-family shoot was for their fourth child! Still as special, even more so because she says it will be their last.
We went to their home for this one and it was beautiful! Yan clearly has an eye for home styling. There were so many beautiful corners to photograph with! It was easy to photographer her and her husband. She’s a go-getter while he’s calm and a little more introverted. They make a good team, which is great because they work together professionally too.
Their three other kids, Isaac, Sophie, and Lucas joined us for the shoot as well. The coming of a fourth child will be a big change for Lucas as he will soon learn to be an older brother too. It’s a whole family affair!
